Blissful Women Adopts Four Villages at Sanjay Gandhi National park - Borivali- Donation & Awareness

11th march 2021, amongst covid times, when regular supplies were not accessible to villagers, how can a lady set her budget to buy sanitary pads? Thus, Blissful Women visited Sanjay Gandhi National Park & researched the problems faced there. Most of the villages in the park are situated 4--5 kms away from the main Gate.

No proper shops or facilities are available to them to buy the pads. As an eco-friendly zone, throwing disposables in the environment was also not acceptable. Economically not feasible was also an issue.

BW did a special donation & awareness drive by adoption of more \than 200 villagers from 4 villages & gave them a period hygiene programme & FREE Reusable cloth pads . These pads will last for 2 years, creating ZERO waste in the national park.
